الدكتورة مريم إكين أخصائية أمراض النساء والتوليد وأطفال الأنابيب (IVF). حصلت على دكتوراه في الطب (MD) وأتمّت إقامتها الطبية في جامعة إسطنبول. أنهت تدريباً سريرياً في أطفال الأنابيب في زينب كامل عام 2017. ترأست وحدة أطفال الأنابيب في مستشفى حصار إنتركونتيننتال بين 2020 و2025. وتتولى حالياً رئاسة وحدة أطفال الأنابيب في مستشفى ميديكال بارك غوزتبه التابع لجامعة بهتشه شهير منذ 2025. وهي عضوة في هيئة التدريس بجامعة أسكودار منذ 2024، وأصبحت أستاذة في جامعة بيروني عام 2025.

تركّز ممارستها السريرية على العقم، والتلقيح داخل الرحم (IUI)، وأطفال الأنابيب بالدورة الطبيعية، وتنظير الرحم، والانتباذ البطاني الرحمي، واستئصال الأورام الليفية بالحد الأدنى من التدخّل الجراحي. نشرت أو شاركت في نشر أكثر من 30 مقالة دولية مُحكَّمة، ونُشرت عدة منها في مجلات مفهرسة ضمن SCI وSSCI. وفي عام 2016 حصلت على الجائزة الأولى عن عرض شفهي من الجمعية التركية لأمراض النساء والتوليد.
