الدكتورة لوسيا غونثاليث كورتيخو طبيبة أورام طبية بخبرة تزيد على 20 عامًا. تتولى رئاسة قسم الأورام الطبية بمستشفى كيرونسالود الجامعي بمدريد منذ 2020. تتركز اهتماماتها على سرطانات الثدي والسرطانات النسائية، كما تعمل في طب الأورام الدقيق والعلاجات الموجّهة والعلاج المناعي.
كانت الباحثة الرئيسية في أكثر من 20 تجربة سريرية من المرحلتين الثانية والثالثة، كما عملت باحثةً مشاركة في أكثر من 50 تجربة سريرية دولية. عملت في كيرونسالود مدريد بين 2009 و2020، وقبل ذلك في مركز إم دي أندرسون للسرطان بمدريد بين 2002 و2009.
تحمل درجة الطب ودرجة الدكتوراه (امتياز مع مرتبة الشرف) من جامعة مدريد المستقلة. أتمّت تدريبها التخصصي في الأورام الطبية بمستشفى 12 دي أكتوبر، كما حصلت على ماجستير في الأورام الجزيئية. وهي عضو في SEOM وESMO وASCO وGEICAM، ومحاضِرة جامعية.

Dr. Lucía González Cortijo is the Head of Medical Oncology at Quirónsalud Madrid. She treats breast and gynecologic cancers. She has served as an investigator in 70+ clinical trials for cancer therapies. Dr. González Cortijo is also a university lecturer who trains future medical oncologists.
Specialization & Treatment Approach
Dr. González Cortijo treats breast cancer, including complex triple-negative and HER2+ cases. She performs treatments for gynecologic malignancies such as ovarian, cervical, and endometrial cancers. The specialist applies precision oncology to select targeted therapies based on molecular profiles. She also uses immunotherapy to stimulate the immune system against cancer cells.
