Areas of Clinical Expertise

• Her primary area of activity is breast cancer at all stages and phases, both in curative and palliative settings. She is a specialist within the Breast Cancer Unit at IOB Teknon and the IBCC. She also holds specific training in neuroendocrine tumors and gynecological cancers (endometrial cancer). During her residency she developed a research line in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and immunotherapy with checkpoint inhibitors.

Research and Scientific Activity

• Presentations at the National SEOM Congress (2017 and 2018) on behalf of Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, including communications on metastatic breast cancer and liver metastasis resection surgery. Oral communication at SEOM 2018: "Surgery for resection of hepatic metastases in breast cancer: does it improve patient survival?"
• Co-author of abstracts published in the Journal of Thoracic Oncology (2017, 2018) on biomarkers of immunotherapy response (soluble PD-L1) and correlation between immune-related adverse events and checkpoint inhibitor efficacy in NSCLC, together with the Sant Pau research group.
