Marek Zbigniew Synder

Hi, I am Professor Marek Synder, a senior specialist in Orthopedic Surgery and Musculoskeletal Traumatology. My journey in medicine spans several decades of dedicated clinical practice, deep scientific research, and academic leadership. I earned my PhD in 1982, my DSc (habilitation) in 1993, and was officially awarded the title of Professor of Medicine in 1998.

Throughout my career, my primary goal has always been to help patientsespecially children regain their movement and live without limitations. I specialize in pediatric orthopedics, limb lengthening, and joint replacement surgeries (arthroplasty). Additionally, I possess unique, advanced skills in musculoskeletal ultrasound (USG), allowing me to diagnose issues accurately right in the office.

Beyond my clinic, I am deeply involved in shaping the future of medicine. I have proudly mentored over 20 specialized doctors, co-authored textbooks for orthopedic surgeons, and published around 400 scientific papers in Polish and international medical journals. I have also had the honor of serving as the Regional Consultant in Orthopedics and Traumatology for the Łódź Voivodeship.
