Heves Surmeli

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Heves Surmeli graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Eskişehir Osmangazi University in 2004. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul, between 2005 and 2010. She subsequently completed her subspecialty training in Medical Oncology at the same institution between 2014 and 2017.

Following her training, Dr. Sürmeli served in various hospitals in the fields of Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. From 2017 to 2023, she worked as a Medical Oncology Specialist at the Medical Oncology Clinic of Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital. Between 2023 and 2026, she served as the Administrative and Clinical Director of the same clinic.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sürmeli has authored numerous articles published in international peer-reviewed journals and has delivered scientific presentations at national and international congresses. She has presented research at both national and international scientific meetings and is an active member of several professional medical societies. She has also received various awards in recognition of her academic and clinical contributions.
