Visit Natural Detox Resort is a private wellness and detox resort located near Lamai Beach on the island of Koh Samui, Thailand. Founded in 2012, the resort specialises in holistic detox, fitness and yoga programmes and today comprises 5 departments with 20 beds, hosting around 850 guests a year from across the world.

History

The resort was founded in 2012 as a small retreat close to Lamai Beach, with a restaurant serving Thai food and a pool. Over the years it expanded its focus on health and detox as the neighbouring Muay Thai gym grew into a fitness centre, and the resort began offering all-inclusive detox packages built around weight loss and full-body health, with no short-cuts.

Today, guests from around the world visit the resort and its superfood café for healthy food, clean and comfortable rooms, and daily workouts and yoga classes.

Approach

The resort's programmes avoid quick-win diets and instead focus on supporting the body's own cleansing process through food and exercise. Guests follow a routine that combines healthy meals, daily exercise to help release toxins, and enough downtime to rest and recover at their own pace. Everyone has different abilities in their personal fitness and yoga practice, and the programmes are adapted to individual goals.
