Higiia – plastic surgery في جراحة الأذن (انظر. تجميل الأذن)

Higiia – plastic surgery is a private medical center in Florianópolis, Brazil. Established in 1998, the clinic provides surgical and aesthetic care in a single dedicated building. The medical team consists of nine doctors who focus on aesthetic and reconstructive procedures.

Accreditations and Professional Standards

The clinic holds accreditation from the Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica (SBCP). This confirms that the surgical team meets the standards of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery. All surgeons maintain active membership in this professional association.

Body and Breast Contouring

Higiia reshapes the abdomen, breasts, and gluteal region. Specialists perform abdominoplasty to remove excess skin and fat while strengthening abdominal muscles. For breast surgery, the clinic offers several options:

• Breast augmentation using silicone implants
• Mastopexy (breast lift) with or without implants
• Reduction mammoplasty to alleviate physical discomfort
• Gynecomastia surgery to remove excess male breast tissue

The surgical team also performs gluteoplasty to add volume to the buttocks. This procedure uses fat grafting (lipofilling) or gluteal implants, depending on patient goals. For patients with severe obesity, the clinic provides bariatric surgery for those with a BMI over 40.

Facial Aesthetics and Otorhinolaryngology

Dr. Marcos Gerente leads the facial aesthetic direction. He completed a fellowship in facial aesthetic surgery at the Instituto Paranaense de Otorrinolaringologia. The clinic combines ear, nose, and throat expertise to improve both appearance and function. Key facial procedures include:

• Facelift (Lifting Facial) to reposition tissues and smooth deep wrinkles
• Blepharoplasty to remove sagging skin and fat from the eyelids
• Rhinoplasty to reshape the nose and improve breathing
• Mentoplasty to adjust the chin using implants or bone repositioning
• Otoplasty (ear surgery) for both adults and children

The clinic also offers hair restoration for patients experiencing balding. Surgeons use the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) technique. This method moves individual follicles to thinning areas for natural results without linear scarring.

Recovery and Patient Support

The facility operates the Higiia Spa to support patients during recovery. This program provides treatments that complement post-operative care. A staff nutritionist creates personalized meal plans before and after surgery to promote healing. Surgeons provide direct follow-up throughout every phase of recovery.

Services for International Patients

The clinic treats international patients and offers consultations in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Patients can schedule an evaluation to discuss surgical goals and choose appropriate techniques. All treatments are performed by specialists with residency training in general and plastic surgery.
