الدكتور إرسن إروغلو أستاذ مشارك واختصاصي جراحة عامة. يعمل في مستشفى ميموريال بهتشلي إفلر منذ عام 2018. يشغل منصب أستاذ مساعد في جامعة إسطنبول بيليم منذ 2014، كما يدرّس في جامعة إسطنبول أريل منذ 2023. حصل على شهادة الطب من جامعة فرات، وأتمّ إقامته في الجراحة العامة في مستشفى حيدر باشا نومونه.

نشر 16 مقالة علمية، وله 25 عرضًا في مؤتمرات وطنية و3 في مؤتمرات دولية. فاز بالجائزة الأولى في تركيا عن استئصال نصف القولون الأيمن بالمنظار لعلاج أورام الغدد الصم العصبية في اللفائفي والأعور. ساهم في ترجمة دليل SAGES لإصلاح الفتق (TEP/TAPP بالمنظار). وهو عضو في الجمعية الطبية التركية، والجمعية التركية للجراحة، وجمعيات جراحة القولون والمستقيم، وجراحة السمنة والتمثيل الغذائي، وجراحة الغدد الصماء.
