عمل الدكتور أيتن كطبيب أخصائي في مستشفى فان العسكري وأكاديمية جولهانة الطبية العسكرية، ثم انضم إلى مستشفى السلطان عبد الحميد الثاني التعليمي للأبحاث. في عام 2023، عمل هناك كأستاذ مشارك ومسؤول تعليمي.
