Areas of Expertise

rofessor Shao completed postdoctoral research on Parkinson's disease surgicaltreatment at Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University, and was selected forthe Beijing Science and Technology Nova Program. He has led multiplesub-projects under National Key R&D Programs, published more than 60 papersin core academic journals, and received several provincial-level scientific andtechnological achievement awards

With over 35 years of expertise in:

Movement disorders: medical management and surgical treatment (deep brainstimulation, DBS) for Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia, etc.

Neurorehabilitation: application of non-invasive neuromodulation techniques forstroke recovery, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, and promoting awakening inpatients with disorders of consciousness

Other neurological conditions: diagnosis and treatment of headache, dizziness.sleep disorders, and related neurological diseases
