Clinical Expertise

Dr.Fan specializes in evidence-based diagnosis and treatment of complex ophthalmologicalconditions,with particular expertise in corneal and ocular surface diseases,glaucoma,cataracts,and complicated ocular trauma.His clinical excellence has earned him nationalrecognition in the field.With over two decades of distinguished clinical practice,Dr.Fanpreviously served as Director of the Ophthalmology Ward at the 180th Hospital of PLA's PLAOphthalmology Center.Currently serving as Director of Ophthalmology at Xiamen HumanityHospital,Dr.Fan is a recipient of the Military Medical and Health Outstanding Talent PositionAllowance.

Dr.Fan has authored over 50 publications in leading ophthalmology journals and has ledthree military and regional research projects.His contributions to the field have beenrecognized with two Third-Class Military Scientific and Technological Progress Awards,twoThird-Class Military Medical Achievement Awards,and two Quanzhou City Science andTechnology Progress Awards.He has been honored as one of Quanzhou City's "Top TenOutstanding Health Guardians”and received the Quanzhou Cultural Innovation andTechnology Award.As a peer reviewer for the International Journal of Ophthalmology andBMJ Case Reports,Dr.Fan is recognized as a Distinguished Ophthalmology Expert by boththe Nanjing Military Area Command and Fujian Province.
