تخرج الدكتور علي سولماز من كلية الطب بجامعة مرمرة عام 2002، وأكمل تخصصه في الجراحة العامة عام 2007. حصل على شهادة أستاذ مشارك في الجراحة العامة عام 2017. يختص الدكتور سولماز في جراحات السمنة والأيض، ويشمل مجاله تكميم المعدة، تحويل المسار، جراحات السمنة التصحيحية، وجراحة السكري.
