Her main expertise is in digital dentistry, dynamic and static surgical guides in implantology and implant-assisted prosthetics fields. 

The founder of Smile Academy, Dr. Dr. Yaprak Kalkan was born in Istanbul in 1988. She graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2011. She went to Turku University in Finland to carry out the experiments of her studies on diabetic patients during her doctorate, which she started in the Department of Periodontology of the same university. After working in corporate and VIP health institutions such as Maslak Acıbadem Hospital, she planned to open her own clinic to take her profession to a different point and laid the foundations of Smile Academy. She has many national and international scientific publications and papers. She took part in the management many times in the leading scientific organizations of the profession, such as the 101st FDI World Dental Congress. In 2019, she assumed the position of Deputy Secretary General of the 25th International TDA Congress. She has been working as a member of the 2012-2016 Community Oral and Dental Health Commission, a member of the 2016-2020 Young Dentists Commission, and since 2018 as the General Assembly Delegate of the Turkish Dental Association at the Istanbul Chamber of Dentists.

Dentist Berat Can Palazoğlu was born in Ordu in 1996. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in his hometown of Ordu, demonstrating early on a commitment to his studies and a passion for healthcare. In 2020, he graduated from the prestigious Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry, where he honed his skills and knowledge in dental care. Following his graduation, he joined the Avangart Dental Clinic family, where he currently serves his patients with dedication and expertise, striving to provide the highest quality dental care and ensure the best outcomes for their oral health.
