Servet Igrek

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Servet İğrek graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his residency training in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Marmara University. Following his residency, he worked at Diyarbakır Selahaddin Eyyubi State Hospital and Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar City Hospital, where he gained extensive clinical experience in orthopaedic trauma, sports surgery, arthroscopic procedures, and joint surgery.

With a particular focus on sports injuries and arthroscopic surgery, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Servet İğrek has extensive experience in knee, shoulder, hip, and ankle arthroscopy, ligament and meniscus surgery, shoulder instability, cartilage and meniscal injuries, arthroplasty, and orthopaedic trauma surgery. He further advanced his expertise in sports surgery through a SECEC & ESSKA-approved Sports Surgery Fellowship Program.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Servet İğrek has authored and co-authored numerous scientific publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals, as well as book chapters and presentations at national and international congresses. He also serves as an instructor in national and international arthroscopy training programs, contributing to the education and professional development of fellow orthopaedic surgeons.

He is an active member of several leading national and international professional organizations, including the Turkish Orthopaedics and Traumatology Association, Turkish Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy and Knee Surgery Association (TUSYAD), Turkish Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Association, Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Association, and SICOT.

With his patient-centered approach, expertise in contemporary surgical techniques, and strong academic background, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Servet İğrek provides comprehensive diagnostic and surgical care across a broad range of orthopaedic and traumatological conditions, with particular expertise in sports surgery and minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures.
