Cem Yalcinkaya

After graduating from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2000, he  

completed his specialization in Gynecology & Obstetrics at Başkent University Faculty of  

Medicine in 2006. He completed his compulsory state service in Nevşehir Ürgüp for 1year

and his military service in Edremit Military Hospital for 1 year. In 2009, he worked as a  

clinical observer in Israel Tel Aviv Chaim Seba Medical Center for 4 months. Between 2009-

2015, he worked as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist at Adana Başkent Hospital.  

Between 2015-2018, he received specialization training in Gynecologic Oncology Surgery at  

Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. During his training, he worked as a clinical observer  

for 2 months in the gynecological oncology center of Charite University Berlin, Germany.  

After completing his subspeciality training, he successfully passed the European Society of  

Gynecologic Oncology (ESGO) exam in Athens in 2019. Between July 2018 and October 2024,  

he worked as a gynecologic oncology surgery specialist at Health Sciences University  

Umraniye Training and Research Hospital. During this period, he completed the DaVinci

Robotic Surgery course and received a robotic surgeon certificate. In 2024, he received the  

title of Associate Professor.  

Dr Cem Yalcinkaya has experience in gynecologic oncologic surgeries, and other basic and  

advanced gynecologic procedures. He is particularly interested in fertility sparing surgeries,  

laparoscopic and robotic surgical procedures.
