Dr. Abuzer Gungor is an esteemed neurosurgeon, known for his proficiency in a wide array of surgical procedures and his research contributions in the field of neurosurgery. He has a strong academic association with Acıbadem University. His research is mainly concentrated on neuroanatomy, postoperative visual field defects, microsurgical anatomy, surgical approaches to the thalamus, and postmortem dissections of common targets for lesion and deep brain stimulation surgeries.
