Assoc. Prof. Kıvanç Derya Peker is a surgeon with expertise in pancreatic, gallbladder, liver, and stomach surgeries. He also specializes in obesity and metabolic surgery, as well as kidney transplantation. He completed his medical and surgical training at Istanbul University. He ranked among the top three in the national minor specialty exam for gastroenterological surgery.

Dr. Peker has performed over 400 pancreatic and gastric cancer surgeries and more than 200 liver surgeries. He has also completed many gallbladder, biliary tract, obesity-metabolic procedures, and kidney transplants. He received training at the Mayo Clinic. Prof. Dr. Tayfun Apuhan is a specialist in ENT and Head & Neck Surgery. He is known for his skill in treating ear infections, repairing the tympanic membrane, and performing rhinoplasty and septorhinoplasty. He also has experience in adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, sleep apnea surgery, vocal cord microsurgery, and head and neck tumor surgery. Dr. Apuhan founded the ENT and Head & Neck Surgery Department at Özel A Plus Hisar Intercontinental Hospital.

Dr. Apuhan earned his medical degree from İnönü University. He completed further training at Abant Izzet Baysal University, University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, Gazi University, and The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center. He has published over 200 scientific articles. He has also served as a session chair and editor at international conferences and journals. Dr. Apuhan currently leads the audiometry program at Doğuş University.

Dr. Hasan Celik is a double board-certified plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon. He passed EBOPRAS Part 1 in Brussels (Feb 2020) and Part 2 in Izmir (Aug 2021). He also passed the Turkish National Board Parts 1 and 2 in Izmir (Aug 2021). He is a member of ASPS, ISAPS, TPRECD, and ACELEMDER.

He earned the ISPRES/ICOPLAST Young Plastic Surgeon Award (3rd place) at the 88th ASPS Meeting in San Diego in 2019. The award recognized his axolotl/PRP burn study. He has four publications. One appeared in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal (2017).

Op. Dr. Faruk Gençoğlu completed his medical faculty career, which he started at Samsun 19 Mayıs University, by joining the academic staff of Istanbul Cerrahpaşa Cardiology Institute in 2015 and receiving his specialization in 2020. Gençoğlu, who actively took part in approximately 3 thousand cases during this process; He has performed surgery for adult cardiovascular diseases such as adult coronary artery disease, heart valve diseases (aortic-mitral-tricuspid), aortic surgery, carotid surgery, peripheral vascular diseases, venous insufficiency (varicose veins), deep vein thrombosis. Gençoğlu, who restarted cardiac surgery at Batman Training and Research Hospital in 2021, served as the clinical chief of open heart surgery for 2 years.

Assoc. Prof. Selman Sarica, M.D., is a board-certified otorhinolaryngologist. He specializes in otology, pediatric ENT, snoring surgery, head and neck tumors, laryngology, functional nasal surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, thyroid surgery, and salivary gland surgery. He received his medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He completed his ENT residency at Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University, where he now serves as an Associate Professor.

Dr. Sarica has performed hundreds of advanced ear, nose, and throat surgeries. His experience includes complex head and neck tumor resections and endoscopic procedures. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkan Yıldırım is a thoracic surgeon with Turkish Thoracic Surgery Proficiency Certification (2003). He is also a member of the European Association of Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons (FETCS). Dr. Yıldırım completed fellowships at several international centers. At the Toronto Lung Transplant Program, he took part in 85 recipient surgeries and nearly 100 donor organ procurements.

Dr. Yıldırım wrote Turkey’s first overseas clinical publication on lung transplantation. He has presented at 37 international and 19 national congresses. He serves as a reviewer for leading journals and holds four patents in biomedical engineering. His areas of expertise include lung cancer, chest wall tumors, mesothelioma, benign lung diseases, and advanced chest wall deformity surgeries.

Dr. Revnak Şahin is a hair transplant specialist with over ten years of experience. She focuses on advanced FUE and DHI hair restoration techniques. Between May 2012 and November 2012, he worked as a fellow in robotic and laparoscopic surgery in urologic cancers for 6 months in the Urology Department of “The Netherland Cancer Institute-AVL hospital”. He started to work at Acıbadem Ankara Hospital in November 2012. In September 2014, he completed the necessary academic qualifications and received the title of “Associate Professor”. After working in a private hospital in Ankara between 2015-2020, he continued his services in his private practice in Ankara until 2020 when he started Hisar Intercontinental Hospital.

In 2015, he was the chairman of the organizing committee of the first course on ‘Fluorescence Imaging in Urological Surgery’ in the field of urology in Turkey. In the following years, he chaired many urology and multidisciplinary courses on ICG fluorescence imaging under the umbrella of Urology Associations. In 2017, for the first time in Turkey, he started to apply Bipolar Prostate Enucleation in benign prostate enlargement in his clinic. Later, he started to use his increasing experience in surgeries such as HOLEP and THUFLEP.

In his career, Dr. Acar, who is especially interested in Urological Cancers, Urinary System Stones, HOLEP, THUFLEP, Endourology, and Robotic and Laparoscopic Urological Surgeries, has carried out many successful operations. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suleyman Hilmi Ipekci, M.D., is an experienced endocrinologist. He specializes in diabetes, thyroid diseases, thyroid cancers, pituitary and adrenal gland disorders, and hormone imbalances. He graduated from Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine, Istanbul University in 1999. He completed his internal medicine residency in 2005 and his endocrinology fellowship in 2010.

Dr. Ipekci became an Associate Professor in 2016. He has published 42 international scientific articles. His research has been cited 230 times. He has contributed to 8 national and international scientific projects, including 2 TUBITAK projects. He has received several awards for his scientific publications.
