Dr. Burcu Akman was born in İstanbul, 1997. She was graduated from Yeşilköy Anatolian High School. She completed her undergraduate education at Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Dentistry in 2020. She received her doctorate education in Yeditepe University faculty of Dentistry, Department of Prosthodonty. Her PhD thesis is about digital dentistry prosthesis. She is a member of the Turkish Dental Association and the International Tram of Implanthology (ITI). She was a member of Osseder between 2020-2022 and scientific commitee member in TDB (2022-2023). She has received special educations about CAD/CAM, Dİgital Smile Design and Laminate Veneers, Occlusion and Temporomandibular Joint Disorders, Teeth Whitening. After 3 years of her doctorate program at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology, she was accepted to the Department of Periodontology, Faculty of Dentistry, Rome La Sapienza University in Italy, in order to do her PhD thesis. She became a board-certified physician in 2013.
She completed her second PhD in Maxillofacial Sciences and Surgery Department at Rome La Sapienza University Faculty of Medicine between 2013 and 2017.
Between 2018-2020, she did Master of Science in Orthognathic Surgery and Temporomandibular Joint Surgery sub-branch at the Sapienza University of Rome.
She has received many special educations about laser dentistry, face driven dentistry, digital smile design, all on four, all on six implant applications, fast&fixed implant applications and immediate implant appllications.
She became a lecturer with the title of Assistant Professor between 2014-2016, at Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Dentistry; and at Bahçeşehir University between 2019-2021.
