After becoming a specialist, he worked at NPISTANBUL hospital until 2015 and during this time he took an active role in the establishment of Turkey's first private Addiction Treatment Center. Between 2015 and 2023, he held various positions in Acıbadem Health Group and received the title of Associate Professor in Psychiatry in 2019.

In 2016, she completed her specialty training at Çukurova University Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Mental Health and Diseases with herthesis on "Intergenerational Effect of Trauma in Children and Adolescents with Anxiety Disorder" and became a Child Psychiatry specialist in 2020. As of August 2024, she continues to work as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry specialist at NPISTANBUL Brain Hospital.

In 2021, she started working as a psychiatry specialist at NPISTANBUL AMATEM department. In 2023, she was awarded the title of associate professor in psychiatry. Dr. Ceylan Ergül continues to work as an associate professor at Üsküdar University Department of Mental Health and Diseases and continues her research in the fields of addiction and psychosis.
