الأستاذ المشارك د. أتاكان توبتشو هو أخصائي أورام طبية في جامعة ميديبول ومستشفى ميديبول أجيبادم الإقليمي. يعالج الأورام الصلبة، بما في ذلك سرطانات الرئة والثدي والقولون والمستقيم والمعدة والأورام العصبية الصمّاء. ويشمل عمله أيضًا العلاجات الموجّهة، والعلاج المناعي، وطب أورام المسنين، وسوء التغذية المرتبط بالسرطان، والدنف، والساركوبينيا.

نشر أكثر من 50 مقالة محكّمة. تشمل أعماله الحديثة دراسة في Frontiers in Medicine عام 2024 حول المتلازمات الشيخوخية، ومقالًا في Future Oncology عام 2023 عن الساركوبينيا والقلق لدى سرطان الرئة. كما نشر حول درجة CONUT في سرطان الثدي، وحول سوء التغذية في سرطان المعدة النقيلي السلبي HER2.

يعمل د. توبتشو ضمن هيئة تحرير مجلة BMC Cancer. وهو عضو في الجمعية التركية للأورام الطبية، والجمعية الأوروبية لطب الأورام (ESMO)، والجمعية التركية لطب الشيخوخة. التعليم والتدريب: دكتور في الطب، جامعة أولوداغ؛ إقامة في الطب الباطني، جامعة مرمرة؛ زمالة في الأورام الطبية، جامعة بزمي عالم الوقفية.
