الدكتور أنون فونغثونغسري طبيب عيون متخصص في القرنية وأمراض العين الخارجية وجراحة الانكسار. تخرّج من جامعة شولالونغكورن عام 1990 بمرتبة الشرف الثانية. أتمّ زمالة لمدة ثلاث سنوات في جامعة الأمير سونغكلا، وأكمل برنامج الإقامة الطبية في راماثيبودي.

كان أول طبيب عيون تايلندي ومن جنوب شرق آسيا يُقبَل في زمالة إكلينيكية في القرنية وأمراض العين الخارجية وجراحة الانكسار بمركز عيون جامعة واشنطن. شارك في دراسات سريرية عن PRK وLASIK باستخدام ليزر الإكسيمر.

في راماثيبودي، يقود قسم القرنية وجراحة الانكسار منذ عام 2001 ويشرف على برنامج الزمالة. وهو أول طبيب تايلندي مُعتمد في جراحة الانكسار. أجرى آلاف عمليات LASIK وإجراءات الليزر السطحية. شارك في تأسيس لايزر فيجن ويشغل منصب مديرها الطبي. ويُعد مركز لايزرفيجن الدولي لليزك من أكثر المراكز زيارةً من قبل أطباء العيون الدوليين في جنوب شرق آسيا ومختلف أنحاء العالم.
