الدكتور إدريس سيرتباش جراح أعصاب ماهر لديه خبرة في جراحات الدماغ والعمود الفقري للكبار والأطفال. يجري عمليات معقدة مثل جراحات أورام الدماغ والمخيخ، ويعالج الأطفال المصابين باستسقاء الدماغ، الحبل الشوكي المثبت، وتعظم الدروز الباكر. كما يتمتع بخبرة في جراحات العمود الفقري المتقدمة، بما في ذلك تثبيت الفقرات بسبب الانزلاق الغضروفي، رأب الفقرة، وجراحة الحدب.
تلقى تدريباً في جراحات التعديل العصبي مثل تحفيز الدماغ العميق لمرض باركنسون، تحفيز لعلاج الصرع، وتحفيز الحبل الشوكي لعلاج الألم المزمن. كما يجري عمليات لعلاج ألم العصب الثلاثي التوائم، تشنج نصف الوجه، وزرع مضخة باكلوفين لعلاج التشنج الشديد.
تخرج الدكتور سيرتباش من جامعة جمهوريت في سيفاس وأكمل تدريبه في جراحة الأعصاب بمستشفى أنقرة للتدريب والبحوث. عمل في مستشفى بارتين الحكومي وجامعة إسطنبول يني يوزيل. يعمل حالياً في عيادة جراحة الأعصاب بمستشفى ليف وادي إسطنبول.

Specialization & Approach
Dr. Sertbas treats a variety of neurological conditions. He performs surgeries for brain and cerebellum tumors. This specialist also treats vascular issues like aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVM), and cavernomas. Additionally, he performs trigeminal neuralgia and hemifacial spasm surgeries to relieve facial pain and twitching.
For chronic pain and movement disorders, he uses deep brain stimulation and spinal cord stimulation. He performs deep brain stimulation for Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, and dystonia. He also offers vagal nerve stimulation for epilepsy. Furthermore, he treats severe spasticity using baclofen pump implantation, which delivers medication directly to the spinal fluid.
Pediatric Neurosurgery
The doctor provides surgical care for children with congenital and acquired conditions. He treats hydrocephalus, which is fluid buildup in the brain, and tethered cord syndrome. He also manages diastometamyelia, where the spinal cord is split. Additionally, he treats craniosynostosis, encephalocele, meningocele, and meningomyelocele.
His pediatric work also includes dermal sinus tract excision. This procedure removes an abnormal channel between the skin and the spinal cord or brain. He treats these conditions to prevent neurological damage as the child grows.
Spine Surgery
Dr. Sertbas restores spinal function and stability. He treats lumbar and cervical disc herniations, lumbar sliding, and narrow canal conditions. His methods include vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty, which are minimally invasive techniques to stabilize spinal fractures. Moreover, he performs complex kyphosis surgery to correct abnormal spinal curvature.
