Ali Inal

Prof. Dr. Ali İnal is a senior physician and academic with over 25 years of experience in Clinical Microbiology, Infectious Diseases, Immunology, and Allergy. He currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Immunology and Allergy at Başkent University Istanbul Hospital.

He completed his specialization in Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, followed by a fellowship in Clinical Immunology and Allergy. In addition to his clinical roles, he has led both Immunology and Tissue Typing Laboratories for more than two decades, contributing significantly to transplant immunology and diagnostic immunology services.

Donor-specific antibodies (DSA) and transplant rejection

Autoimmunity and primary immunodeficiencies
